Reaper Season 2 Episode 1 Episode I: A New Hope airs Tuesday March 3 at 8/7c on The CW.

THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT Sam (Bret Harrison) returns from a road trip with Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) hoping to make things right with Andi (Missy Peregrym). However, when the guys return they discover they’ve been fired from the Work Bench and evicted from their apartment. With nowhere else to go, they head to Sock’s house only to find a strange girl (Eriko Tamura) living there. Meanwhile, Andi refuses to talk to Sam and The Devil (Ray Wise) is back with a new assignment. Stephen Cragg directed the episode written by Craig DiGregorio (#201).

Sam will keep on working for and occasionally fighting the Devil, as The CW has picked up Reaper for a second season. The Hollywood Reporter says the show has just been given the renewal, with the CW cutting it down to the wire, since Tuesday is their Upfront event where they announce their full schedule for 2008-2009.

Season 2 will be comprised of 13 episodes and will debut midseason. The Reporter says the current plan is to likely pair Reaper with Supernatural on Thursday nights - Smallville's eighth and presumably final season will finish its entire run first, if this plan goes forward.
