THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT Sam (Bret Harrison) returns from a road trip with Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) hoping to make things right with Andi (Missy Peregrym). However, when the guys return they discover they’ve been fired from the Work Bench and evicted from their apartment. With nowhere else to go, they head to Sock’s house only to find a strange girl (Eriko Tamura) living there. Meanwhile, Andi refuses to talk to Sam and The Devil (Ray Wise) is back with a new assignment. Stephen Cragg directed the episode written by Craig DiGregorio (#201).

Sam will keep on working for and occasionally fighting the Devil, as The CW has picked up Reaper for a second season. The Hollywood Reporter says the show has just been given the renewal, with the CW cutting it down to the wire, since Tuesday is their Upfront event where they announce their full schedule for 2008-2009.

Season 2 will be comprised of 13 episodes and will debut midseason. The Reporter says the current plan is to likely pair Reaper with Supernatural on Thursday nights - Smallville's eighth and presumably final season will finish its entire run first, if this plan goes forward.

What Jessi and Kyle find in Cassidy's safe sends them searching for the truth about Sarah Emerson, but Jessi's unrelenting method may endanger her life. At home, Declan finally puts his foot down, and Josh already misses Andy.

Zedd plans to hide the third Box of Orden in the tomb of the historied Seeker Kieran. Legend had it that Kieran, after fulfilling his destiny, died along with his confessor, Vivian, with whom he shared a deep bond. When Zedd, Richard, and Kahlan enter the tomb, however, things are not as they expected. Kieran's remains are not in his sarcophagus, and then the door to the tomb mysteriously closes, locking the Zedd, Richard, and Kahlan inside the tomb. After following a Vivian's spirit, they find Kieran's remains with a spell placed on them that prohibits his soul from going to the underworld. Zedd undoes the spell, but Kieran's spirit possesses Richard, and expels Zedd from the room. Kieran, using Richard's body, then attempts to use Kahlan as a vessel for Vivian. Zedd, meanwhile, meets Kieren's former wizard,, Amfortas, who has possessed a dead man's body. Amfortas explains that Kieran and Vivian had fallen in love, and that she had confessed Kieran. Vivian had then committed suicide in order to release him from her power. Her death, however, had turned Kieran into a terrible and violent killer. Amfortas then beheaded Kieran with the Sword of Truth, and bound his soul so that he could not hurt people in the underworld. In the meantime, Vivian has possessed Kahlan's body, and she and Kieran are becoming very intimately involved. Zedd and Amfortas have to work together to re-open the door, at which time Zedd threatens to kill Kahlan's body if Kieran will not go to the underworld. Kieran agrees, and all of the spirits depart. Zedd decides that the tomb isn't a safe place to hide the Box of Orden, and that he will take it somewhere secretly by himself.
